Hey all, new (to me) 2017 LBB M2 owner here. "Ol' reliable" is my other garage occupant - '99 Tacoma. Pic below is with my late, great E92 M3 in the background. I used to miss the hell out of that when I got rid of it, but not with the M2 in the stable now

I have a 2019 M2C and a S2000 (my wife also drives a Forester). I've realized pretty quickly that the M2C and S2000 don't make the best winter cars in Colorado. I feel like I got the deal of a lifetime (assuming I can fix a few issues) on a e61 2006 BMW 530xi Wagon. I'm looking forward to having this as a beater and won't have to worry about it since I got it so cheap.

If you don't mind telling us, what was your deal of a lifetime for your M2C or did you lease it?

The deal of a lifetime is referring to his 5series wagon.

No one can have a deal of a lifetime on an M2c yet.

Same here. No M2 (yet) but I’ve got a 2017 530 and a 98 M3/4/5. I drive the M3 2-3 times a month if that and always decide to sell it due to low use. Then I drive it and change my mind

Yeah, the crazy deal was on the wagon. It does have oil leak so I am taking the oil cooler off today and redoing some gaskets.

I paid MSRP back in August for the M2C. However, my old credit union did give me 1.7% for 84 months. I think this car is about the same on a monthly basis as my old WRX. 1.7% for 84 months is practically free money and I plan on keeping the M2C.

Man that E36 is clean. Beautiful. My first BMW was a 1993 E36 325i. The rest is history, as they say.

I wish it was still as clean as it was. It's a bit rusty now, and needs a lot of TLC. I'm debating sinking some money into it (money I'll never see again) to try to restore it a bit. Likely going to be giving it to my sister when the M2C arrives as I don't have space for 3 cars, but it'll still return home to me someday I hope.

Nope, I think that's just a shadow. The car is completely stock, albeit fully loaded minus alcantara sun visors and PCCB. Favourite part is the carbon buckets.
