Awesome thanks for the post.

I am about to purchase the AA mid pipe and retain my stock exhaust. I will paint it black with primer first and then a few coats taking my time. I think this setup is the most economical, saves a bunch of weight, and you get some performance gains.

Buying just an axle back, Remus, Eisenmann, or Akrapovic I do not see any benefit here at all. Paying so much for an muffler for just a small difference in sound. No thanks.

I followed the advice of many of you guys in the U.S... I got together with a partner a AA midpipe to test on another M2C, which we are using.

I hope I can show you more soon. At least I can now hear what all this praise is about and why it sounds so well. I will of course make a comparison video if I can.

The best sound out of the S55 I've heard! Two questions: 1. Any chance this will throw a CEL? 2. Has anybody experienced any drone?

no cel
not really any drone with the valve closed. sounds about as good as a S55 can get

You have no CEL with downpipes? Or did you do the BM3 upgrade. I'm considering the Full Signature exhaust as the Midpipe is too quiet for my taste. Did you notice a big difference when you put your downpipes on?

Full signature with added downpipes you feel the difference. Downpipes themselves with NO tune are releasing between 20-30 whp.

But downpipes cause a CEL in North America correct? I'm pretty sure there's no adequate bypass until you tune it.

Correct, catless Downpipes will trigger CEL. Only workaround is tuning which takes care of the CEL.

Bimmerpost discount code with AA?

My first post on Bimmerpost, but I'm sure not the last.

Got my M2C two weeks ago. Now looking for the full AA turbo back system. Is there a Bimmerpost discount code with AA?

Can you pair the AA midpipe (Which seems like the way to go for weight and sound) with the Akra rear exhaust?

Ive been searching for that combo and have been unsuccessful...

Been researching different combos as well but only found Remus and Eisenmann which is the best combo in terms of deep tone

Someone's done it before on the M3/M4 forums if you look around in there. I remember seeing it awhile back.
