M Performance Suspension settings from BMW Hall of Suspension

Just recently discovered the BMW Hall of Suspension (BMW M Performance Suspension) pdf and thought I would post about it, maybe just new to me. The pdf contains a lot of info being requested in this group regarding the M2/M2C MPS coilovers, settings, etc. *See pages 8 - 11

https://www.parts.bmwgroup.com/infod...Suspension.pdf

Just had the MPS install, looking forward to checking them out!

Is it just me? But the MP stock setting seems to be even softer than the M2C original suspension?!

Have a look at Jetbill's Suspension Dyno thread.

Basically all the aftermarket dampers are valved to not rattle your fillings while preventing the car from pitching or rolling, but the stock items aren't.

The stiffer spring rate is certainly instantly noticeable. I cannot say they feel softer, I have done 5 track days so far with them at default settings. The car feels all-around more stable and transitions faster. Going to stiffen them up this weekend.

I would say this default settings are going to be close to OEM as too stiff for the street would be a negative.

It's probably worth checking that your dampers are set correctly, using the information in the OPs post.
