Active Autowerke | M2C Exhaust Options

Active Autowerke will be offering two exhaust options for the M2C.

Our Mid-Pipe is already available and we will have pictures and videos of the full system at the end of this week.

If you aren't familiar with our current S55 exhaust options, the main difference with our system compared to others is that we use a a single 3.5" mid pipe. The single design increases exhaust velocity and also deepens and smoothens the exhaust note. It's proven to reduce spool time and increase overall horsepower and torque. We chose the 3.5" diameter because it has proven to flow upwards of 800whp on turbocharged applications. BMW uses an exhaust pipe just over 3" on their N55 powered cars, so it didn't make sense to use a 3" pipe and offer a product that's more restrictive than the stock exhaust.

Information on our popular S55 mid pipe can be found here:

https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1217568

And information on the M2 Signature system can be found here:

https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1324840

Some photos of the mid pipe fitted:

Will the non signature exhaust or axle back be offered eventually ? I prefer that over the signature as it's not as loud

Guys, why did you decide to go to such a long section which is a single mid pipe?

I assume it is because it is basically the same midpipe they have for the m3/m4 s55 motor that has proven to be very popular and produce a great sound track.

I'd rather have the whole thing be a single exhaust until the rear bumper to be honest.

Great! This AA single path mid-pipe and a tune to remove the juvenile 'pops and burbles' and I think we'll finally have a great, stealthy sounding exhaust for the M2C..

It synchronizes the exhaust pulses from the two turbos. One of if not the best sounding exhausts for the M3/M4. A lot deeper tone than other exhausts.

The only exhaust that sounds good on these cars! Should be swinging by shortly to get this fitted.

Dropped my car off today. Met David and Andrew. They seem to really enjoy what they do, real car guys. Bunch of Bimmers on the lot (if not all the cars on the lot). Can't wait to pick her up and see their work.

The wait to get this mid-pipe is almost worse than the wait I had for my M2C

They're up. I can't post purchase links in this section of the forum but if you search "M2C" on our site it will come right up
