Changed out the intercooler and chargepipe today with a wagner fmic and ftp chargepipe. Fitment was perfect, so no hiccups during the installation. No hard driving yet, but took it around my neighborhood and it sounds like the intake noise has increased and there seemed to be a tiny bit of increased boost lag. I'm just hoping this will help on warmer days and on the track.

Noted you have installed the m performance gear knob - how do you find it compared to the stock zhp knob?
From what I've read here on the forum - half think it's a good improvement over zhp, the other half like the stock zhp better

I like the shift knob much better. With the stock one I felt like I was holding a rubber ball. That and the shifts felt longer.

As far as the Performance version it feels crisper and the throws are much shorter. If anyone is thinking about a short shift kit I would try this first.

Make sure there's no leak if you're hearing new noises. The charge pipe meth bung might have a leak. Needed locktight on mine.

Night and day. The steering is incredibly precise. So much that it took me a day to recalibrate. Removes all the "slop". A tad more steering effort. Could not hear any NVH noise from it. Very happy with the upgrade.

Silent in city streets, barely imperceptible at highway speeds. Tire noise is actually louder. Only really comes into play on the track, and even then it's not intrusive. Maybe because I haven't removed the sound deadening and carpets. I wish it was louder! Power delivery is much smoother.
