From 15:28 onwards

At 17:23 I first understood "BMW M is all about acceleration" (and likely I'm not the only one). But upon listening again, I think he said "BMW M is all about exhilaration".

Never mind, I thought BMW M was all about the chassis.

YES YES YES

Do Euro Delivery! I've done it twice, and it's fabulous. Take a full week, see the sights, drive the autobaun, and enjoy the car!

Not enough of a pain point for me to want to replace my M2 with a M2C. I wonder if this capability can be coded? Sport does allow a choice on the screen for throttle, chassis or both.
Would be nice if you could just grab the console buttons and wheel from the M2C, plug it in, and it would just work.

It appears to be visible on the M4 as well, though not as much. Nothing an aftermarket muffler cannot solve. Or some high temp black paint.

I think I'll have it sprayed black if it bugs me.

I agree. It was a complete waste of time even to watch it in replay today and fast forwarding to the M2 part. Boring. Little information. Simply a corporatized-sanitized "introduction". Oh well, it is what it is these days with BMW.

Every manufacturer does intros like these, and they have since the 1960s. The real info comes from the long-lead media previews and the instrumented tests of production cars.

Even better... take 3+ weeks (I get my N55 M2 in Munich on June 2). Many excellent twisties planned, including a visit at the end to the Nordschliefe.

(I know, I know, taking a lot of time off isn't always possible).

I wonder if the big can has something to do with the effect on sound caused by the particulate filter in the exhaust stream behind the engine. Too bad they can’t hide that muffler with the rear bumper skin, but it looks like it hangs so low that covering it with bodywork could affect the rear aerodynamics.

Maybe this BMW's way of forcing the M2C owners to buy the mpe

Is Euro delivery available for car purchased in the UK? Also what are the benefits for the Euro delivery?

Can't figure out HS, color looks different from the front than it does in the rear. Don't get me started on that muffler.

And here it is looking more like white. TBH it looks pretty good in these pics, you can really see the metallic flakes.

P.S. People need to learn how to close the hood properly.

Yes, HS looks like it has fairly big metal flakes. It is also picking up colors from the lights in the room which means that it could be a chameleon color, looking blueish under a blue sky and have an orange tint at sunset. It will be interesting to see this color in person.

To me it looks even bigger than the M4 and it has 2 flapper valves. Maybe the sound will be a nice surprise. I agree it does stick out like a sore thumb.

Lol, I was trying to be kind incase someone says I'm being a hater. I did think that is massive and Googled a Zm4 straight after seeing it. I didn't notice on the press pics

This is probably one of the biggest mufflers I've ever seen on a compact car. I agree, it might be due to the new particulate filter. However, 2019 M4 is supposed to get the same filter as well. I'm curious if BMW did any design change to the stock M4 muffler as well. Anyways, this muffler needs to go ASAP when I get the car.
