Do it. The roads and views are spectacular. Highway 133 south of Aspen is fantastic and Highway 550 is over the mountain to Durango or Ouray is outrageous. Just don't do either in the dark. Too many deer. I had a navigator on the passenger seat so that helped with spotting deer along the way.

Ticked 169 on the salt. It had more in it, but struggled to keep hooked up even at higher speeds. Still amazing...

It was during the West run of Crown Rally. We travelled Denver to Beaver Creek to Salt Lake City to Bonneville and ended in Vegas. Completely epic event, my fourth rally. 152 supercars running on isolated two lane roads through the western US. We each got to make a run on the Salt Flats, two miles with 1/2 mile to stop. The AWD Audis and such had better numbers due to better grip. On the Rally, the M2C is a very small player, but it really held it's own this year after BM3 tune and catless DP's.
