Yes, I just went through this. If you order the set w/the Cup tires they will keep your 788M and give you a credit to invoice. You're better off ordering from Brian and selling or keeping your 788M.
The attachment show the credit before we received the details of the credit and I ended up removing the wheels and buying them separately. |

I questioned this when I ordered and the 763 rims with tyres was $9k AUD and would receive $3k credit back for taking the stock rims.
As others have mentioned, the most economical way is to buy yourself and sell your stock set or just keep them. |

The CA can show you the exact amount, but may not. When in the Vechile Locate app or whatever it is called there is the full retail price of the item, which at the port includes installation. The invoice is ~20% less. If you search around you can find the wheels for more than 20% off, which may or may not be worth it for you to purchase separately.
If you don't want the hassle of selling the 788M wheels and/or want the 763M wheels on your window sticker then go for the credit. BTW, the credit is the credit you cannot negotiate more unless the dealer is willing to do something out of their pocket. This was my favorite order updatel... BMW finally confirmed that there is no additional credit for the wheels. I even made mention that it makes no sense as you can purchase them “over the counter” for $xx more than the invoice price and still have another set of wheels and tires. At that point he just apologized and thanked me for my questions. Last edited by omasou; 05-06-2019 at 10:36 AM.. |
