Changed battery 2014 335i FOB, but after changing it all my comfort settings are gone, and every time I get into my car now to start it it says "key not found yadda yadda" and I have to keep putting the key to that key picture on the side of my steering column..

Is there a way to fix this so I don't have to keep doing this when I just want to start my car? I have looked everywhere but I cannot find the correct wording, or most of them I saw just told you how to change your battery and go no further.

Help? Sorry english not my first language so I have no idea what to search for.

You got a bad fob battery. I know you recently changed it, but it seems like the new one is bad. Try replacing again,OR make sure you put the battery in the correct direction.

Bad battery. Check the expiration date on the package when buying the next two. Two, because you should change them in both fobs.

wow, this is good to know for the future, so if things are screwy after a fob battery replacement, it means the battery is bad.
