Dispatched from factory!

Anyone have an idea of how long it'll take for the car to arrive in the SF Bay Area form this point? If anyone's curious, here's the spec I ordered-

HS
6MT
Black wheels
Orange stitching
Exec Package
Moonroof (don't hate!)

I'm looking forward to getting more involved in this forum once the car arrives. If anyone is in/around the peninsula and would like to plan a meetup, let me know.

Quick question... My car has been in "Final Assembly" for a couple of days now. Do you recall how long it took for your car to get from there to "Dispatched"?

I think mine was 3-4 days. Although...it always seemed like the online status was updated in batches so it would hang in one place for a few days and then jump a couple/few steps at once

Looks like my car is at the port as of today (Jan 27).

Seems as though the next ship out to Port Hueneme is the "Morning Peace" leaving on Jan 29 and arriving on Feb 24. Anyone else expecting their car to be loaded onto this fine vessel?

I'm having a great time tracking this process. Not looking forward to BMW's lease/finance rates though. Think I might finance through a local credit union for better rates.

Mine is at port as well. Not sure if it's going to make it on that ship. Also I'm on the easy coast.

I have read so many nightmare "my car was damaged at the port", or "my car has been stuck at the port for weeks" stories on here that it makes me nervous as fack when I order mine, and the point comes when my car will be at the gates of car hell.

My car arrived at the port on the 26th. Will let you know when she advances so you can get a sense of timing. Dealership said that I should expect her in March (I’m assuming 45 days from here).

Even I have my LBB 6MT at the port from the past 3-4 days .. Mine's coming to Ohio ...

I think mine was between 30-40 days. Call BMW Genius and they should be able to give you some estimates and which ship your car will be on.

Once its assigned a ship, you can look up the schedule and see when its due at Hueneme. Since its a west coast ship it might take a few more days as there are fewer.

Mine took about 7 weeks total from the time I got the "Dispatched From Factory" Status till when it arrived at the Dealership in San Diego. About 30 of those Days was on the Carrier from Bremerhaven to Port Hueneme.
