Floor mats - CS unique?

I didn't see any super clear pictures - are the CS floor mats unique at all, or are they the standard M2 floor mat? Curious if the embroidery is different at all etc.

So it just says M2 like the regular mats, but then has red accent stitching instead of the orange or polar blue?

Not yet, iND (no affiliation) is working on it right now and trying to source a sample from BMW so we should have details soon.

Good news then, at least someone's working on a answer. I'd like to get the MPerf mats restitched in the correct red colour. Please do keep us updated.

Yes, me too. Keep me posted if there is a solution to re-stitch the M Perf matts.

They look to be red stitched, and not sakhir orange stitched like the Comp seats. So in that way, i believe the stitching is unique.

IMO M Performance matts would look a little strange with different stitching, they're more like an all season one anyway. But the seats are quoted as using Fire Red stitching, I'd assume the stock floor matts use the same.

I was really surprised with the mats... They are really crappy.. I'd say everyone should plan on replacing them.

Very plain and thin I figured maybe some CS or M type floor mats but they are about as useful as the paper mats you get when they service your car.

I agree, they are awful. Trying to figure out an option to replace that I'll be happy with. I've always had full WeatherTech liners in all my cars, but I wanted to stick with the carpeted look this time if i could.

I was considering these:

I'm looking for a set of factory floor mats if anyone is willing to sell their stock set. Thank you.

This is what I have but would like to get them restitched in the "fire" red CS colour.
Need to track down some fire red thread or colour code for exact red....anyone?

Are they better quality than the stock mats? Is there any stitching of color beside the ///M bar? I figured the bar tied to the headrest so I could deal.

They feel pretty inexpensive. Glad someone posted the seat pic above. I forgot that it had memory buttons on the side.

The sportline mats are still available if anyone is just looking for red piping from BMW.

I like the grey/black rubber-not-rubber m performance mats that match the dead pedal and mp pedals. The design is so-so but the material is nice. Its not straight up all rubber weather mats, but it isn't carpet either where your heel gets caught when clutching out like the stock mats.
