You shouldn't have any rub up front. I've run 255/35-19 and 275/35-19 RE-71R tires for track/autox, and they are big for their size, with zero rubbing issues.

I run this set up on my OG M2. Lowered on Eibach springs... no rub with no spacers but rubbed when I ran 7.5mm front spacers.

You should be fine with no spacers and stock height.

Every tire will fit a bit different.

The stock 245/35 has a tread width of 8.8.
My 255/35 LM60 has a tread width of 9.1 (just .3 wider)

But I've seen a 245/35 Alpin have a tread width of 9.5!

So it all depends on which Winter tire you get, concerning rubbing.

However, I'll say that you should have no rub at all on a stock suspension/wheels.

I am looking at the Nokian Hakka 8 (non studded) - only size I can find them in is the one I listed. I wasn't happy with Michelin PA4 on my OG m2 so was hoping to find a more legit winter tire option this go around haha.

I am currently running Continental VikingContact 7's with that exact setup... no rubbing at the front. Winter performance should also be as good if not better than Nokians based off what I read...

I'm running 245/35 Alpin PA4 on front with some rubbing when turning and with slight suspension compression. Stock wheels, stock suspension, no spacers.
