No love for the Turner high kick spoiler
Hi, I was wondering why I haven't seen any pics of it installed on cars here. I kinda dig the look, am I missing something ?

Probably cause it doesn't flow at all with the design language of the car

Agreed with the poster above, the blocky design just doesn't work with the lines of the car. That's why so many spoilers have strongly curved features or cut outs in the center. It just works better with the stock lines.
If you are going to go for a really squared off body kit or overfenders I could see it working, but if you want a big spoiler with a stock body line I would go for something like the "high kick" PSM. |

Im a huge fan of it and will be buying one soon. I've seen probably 3 people post theirs on this forum.
I like it better than the oem m performance style spoiler because that one leaves that angle on the trunk underneath the spoiler exposed whereas the Turner version covers it. I always felt like it wasn't mounted far enough back and kind of just sat ontop of the trunk rather than the back of it. Its hard to explain typed out... Also never been a fan of the spoilers with the middle cutouts

I think it's the best looking rear spoiler on the market. IMO the Turner & the RKP & the Vorsteiner are the optimum design as they sit on the rear edge of the boot lid & follow the lines perfectly & flow in a similar design to the E46 CSL boot lid & the 2-series Carbon boot lid, unlike the rest including the oem which look like they are just stuck on top of the lid like an afterthought.
I have had both the Turner & the Vorsteiner, pics of both styles fitted below. The Turner also looks like a spoiler that was designed to actually be functional as a spoiler rather than just a bit of trim stuck on the lid. I do think you need a front spoiler to fully balance the look though.

It looks like an afterthought to me. Body colored may look better but I personally hate the trunk lips that wrap around that edge and I much prefer the ones that sit on the top of the bootlid, that is just my opinion though.
All in all I would rather have an actual wing all together. |

I love it, I posted it on my thread. I love that it eliminates that weird step our trunks have.

For what it's worth, vorsteiner has a similar duckbill style spoiler that I think looks better but still not my cup of tea:

Pass, too 'Fast n Furious' for me. Much prefer the oem+ look for my daily. I have my tarmac rally cars for when I wanna play race car driver. To each his own though.

I am still pretty happy with this spoiler but just installed the m perf diffuser and its a bummer that the cf pattern goes the opposite way. Am I crazy to be bothered by this lol
I am not going to change anything since I am not a fan of the Cs spoiler and the m performance is just not substantial enough for me but my ocd definitely high on this for some odd reason |

Personally I'm not a fan of tacked on CF stuff. So I think this spoiler could be cool in body colour. I do think the one thing it has going for it is similar angles inverted from the diffuser when viewed from the rear.

If my car was not bsm I would have painted it but as it is it looks pretty good. I usually share the same opinion but I think looks fantastic on Ban M2s car. Just too bad the weave direction does not match the mp performance rear diff. I bet it matches the turner rear diff but I am just not a fan of how it looks, the m perf rear diff is about as aggressive looking as I like. |
