Talking 2020 M2C wheel choices

I am looking to upgrade the wheels on my M2C. Want to maintain ride quality but improve handling. Looking at 19 x 9.5" front and 19 x 10.5" rear with probable Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tires: 265/30-19 and 295/30-19. Running OEM suspension.

Current front runners are the Apex EC-7 and the Titan7 T-S5 wheels. Realize the Apex are flow formed (currently forged are not available in appropriate size) and the Titan are forged but also a significant price delta of $1500.

Looking for feedback on both wheels.

Thanks in advance for the help. No rush as my current wheels/tires have only 3k miles of use.

I am now running the Titan T-S5 (9.5/10.5)...on the same set of tyres (265/285 30 19) the car handles much sharper on the wider wheels. The wheels are light for their size with a 690kg (1521 pounds) load rating engraved on the barrel of each wheel. All in all I love the new setup

On a side note, from my observation on the current front and rear fender/tyre clearance, I believe Titan's offset (ET27 front and ET44 rear) will allow me to run 275 front and 305 rear (Falken RT660 when available) on stock suspension without rubbing.

I personally like ec-7 in race silver. My M2C is H. silver and not sure if race silver or anthracite is better for that color car. Something of note as far as tire widths depending intended use. A 30mm diff. in staggered my cause more understeer than desired. A 20mm diff may be more neutral. I plan 285 rear and 265 front when I do go ec-7.

You will never experience understeer on the street with a 265 front. Understeer only comes up while the front grip is degrading faster than the rear at the time when the tyres are generating both longitudinal and lateral acceleration simultaneously. In principle, a 275 front (on a wheel with sufficient width) would have a higher tolerance to traction degradation than a 265, regardless of the size of the rear tyres. That means to reduce understeer, worry about the size of the front tyres, not the rear.

Obviously, a square setup on a car with 50:50 weight distribution, both front and rear would degrade at a fairly similar rate so all the tyres would lose grip and slip at around the same time, at the same rate so the handling would be neutral.
