M2 CS delivery - Cyprus (MB - 6MT - M-CCB - GLD 763M - Cup2)

     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I am so excited that I picked up the 1 of 1 allocation that my country was allowed (Cyprus). Being a previous owner of the original M2, and being super happy with it, I decided to move to the CS for several reasons, so I grabbed the opportunity and bought one and i would like to share my experience until now.

First of all, the car has so much more presence on the road, and looks much better than from the photos or videos. I was a bit anxious with the gold wheels and I can honestly say that they look amazing in real life, the colour is amazing ! The car speaks for itself.

This time I chose the manual transmission for the CS instead of DCT in my OG. I would say I miss the DCT in traffic but since I use the car only for my driving pleasure mostly at night and weekends, I wouldn't ever go back to the DCT, really guys, I was suprised how the 6MT felt since the first time I got into the car. Suspension, driving dynamics, power increase, interior specialness, are all noticeable. For me, it's just the perfect car, really it is. I am 100% happy with my upgrade, anyone thinking changing from the OG M2 with N55, I would recommend you the car. For M2 Competition owners, I am not sure if it's worth the upgrade since I never drove one, but for sure it would be closer to the CS than the OG to the Competition.

I am so so happy with the car, it really feels a different car. Suspension is much more better on the road, I like that stiffness which is much harder than my OG. And I can say guys, that the S55 is a great motor, really. As for looks, man thats a head turner, especially being 1 of 1 here, people look at it and say WTH is that ? 763M wheels, are amazing too. Seats, a really must have upgrade. Roof - looks fantastic ! Exhaust noise, a bit muted, but after 2K km after the first service, they will update the car for full power, and as well open the exhaust valves.

Overall guys, I am really happy with it, it is special , it feels special, I couldn't ask for more power or any upgrade on the looks. I bought it, want to live with it, and keep it as much as i can. That feeling of specialness is everywhere ! My father took delivery of his 992 Carrera S last month too, and when he drove my CS, he was driving like a maniac, changing gears, enjoying the car, and while his 992 was probably faster, the CS gave him the feeling of being faster !

Having the opportunity to own and drive the OG M2 and the M2 CS , i feel so lucky living all that , whichever M2 you have , its an amazing machine , unforgettable memories !

I will have some more photos later this week since the car is at a detail shop for ceramic coating !

Are you saying that the speed of the CS is more dramatic than the 911?

The feeling that gives you * not sure if faster , both are 450hp , obviously the 911 is pdk , but i dont think the cs is faster than 992 carrera s .

Actually is less than my OG , previously when the car arrived it was much higher , but when it was ready for delivery the gap was less . This is a photo before delivery

More fun driving a slower car fast than a faster car fast when you're on the streets. The build up is slower so you really get to enjoy it. The 992 can hit legal speed limits in like 3 seconds with the PDK. A 6 speed M2CS is a little slower but gives you more time to enjoy the acceleration.
