I was thinking the same, either on shipping blocks or the angle the photos have been taken. Need to get rid of those plastic things under the arches though. Otherwise a lovely looking car. Can’t wait to hear how it drives

Manufacturers like BMW do not slap any tires on; they have to be developed, approved and homologated which is done way before the car goes on sale. BMW did not find it worth the extra money to homologate a newer tires for the M2, then.

All BMW's ship with spacers in the springs so that they don't bounce around on shipment trucks. Basically locks the springs into higher position, helps to get them off trucks as well. They are pulled out when the car gets inspected off the truck.
