Update
I loaded the 93 octane version of the Stage 1. Didn't realize it would be much more powerful than the 91 octane. I started another thread about this but based on feedback that I received, the 93 octane is 25-30hp more. Insane power. It's cold as hell in VA right now so I'm having traction issues. Can't wait to see what this baby can do with warmed up PS Cup 2 tires. I feel like this thing is faster than my 991.2 GT3 in a straight line. Brutal. ************************* Original Post I just uploaded the 91 octane stage 1 tune, probably should of done the 93 octane; not sure what the tangible difference would be. However, all I can say is holy crap! Definitely need to warm up tires before you get into her. Easily breaks traction in all gears if you are not careful with the throttle lol. The amount of pull is incredible. This is what the M2C should of been like out the gate. Insane. A set of 10mm wider Cup 2s should work nicely. |

And yes, it should have been like this out of the box, but if it would have been we would have had a lot of people bringing it back because it scared the shit out of them hahah MR |

Good to read it's working.
From 5000/7000 I just want a bit more upgoing punch like M4... Does this BMW3 work easily on Euro spec cars too? Cheers Robin |

Congrats.
I also flashed STG1 for my M2C friend. Power is massive. It feels and is stronger than my turbo upgraded N55 M2, pump gas for pump gas. Though I'm positive S55 STG1 has less headroom to deal with environment variance, boosting 22~23psi, compared to 17psi that I am running. It's a blessing BMW did all the hardware work with S55 and a tune alone gets you wherever you desire with sanity for F8X platform. Robin_NL All BM3 maps are technically Europe sourced. Halim is a Copenhagen. Test with local car and port over to USA. My car is Euro spec and has been working great on his tune, for two year.

Euro Spec, but no OPF in the middle pipe. However muffler is the same huge one.
Funny enough, it sounds way worse than the OPFed one all you guys posted video of...

I had the Stage-1 93 map and switched to the M4 CS+ map due to the lack of traction. The power delivery is more linear, controllable & noticed that the oil temp runs a bit lower under heavy load. Nevertheless, I am impressed with the power of the CS map since I expected it to be a lot slower than Stage-1 but I was mistaken. I highly recommend giving it a try, you won't be disappointed.

CS map is the sweet spot for our little platform, running about the same boost as my humble N55 with the upgraded turbo. And probably makes the same or slightly more power.

I’m lurking and soaking up all the info I can. I’m happy with the way the M2c feels down low and through the mid range, it does seem to slow it’s roll from 5kish onward. Would the CS+ map take care of the sluggish behavior from 5-7k?

Yes, the CS(+) map is part of the initial license purchase. The additional license pack gives you stg1 and 2 maps.

Compared to what stock M2 Comp? it will be a big difference as the stock
M2 comp boost tapers more than a stock F8x, the CS runs about 18 psi uptop with good timing, the gains of CS are mostly midrange. there is actually no point spinning the s55 past 7k, it's kinda run out of puff way before 7k and at altitude it's even worse |

My stock OG M2 already ran out of power butt-wise @ about 6k revs.
M2Comp down low/midrange(2500-5000) I really don't need more punch: From 5000-7000 M2 Comp has a lot of thrust, way more than stock OG M2, but it stays linear... I want a map which increases thrust/power from 5k-7k just like the 2015 M4 I drove did, passing other cars beyond 5k rpm it was a thrust/kick in the back festival up to 7k. So I want this: at 5k rpm you have let's say 400HP crank and at 7k rpm you have 450/60/70HP Is this possible with BM3 mapping? Cheers Robin |

7600rpm is just there for bragging rights
But when you're @ 7000rpm you might as well go the Full Monty because in a blink of an eye literally you're already at 7.6k... So 7000rpm max power is fine, off course, we're not talking about McLarens and 488s. 991GT2RS has max power @ 7000 or even below that(?) Cheers Robin |

@Robin_NL let me explain S55 variants' tune state.
M2C - same as base until 5k where it starts to taper off by 20-30whp M3/4 base - standard M3/4 ZCP - same as base until 5k, from which it holds a bit more boost to top end by about 20whp M3/4 CS - significantly more boost at middle range till 5k5 than zcp. Top end boost is same but cs has more timing. However, you won't see more power if octane isn't there. M4 GTS - slightly more middle range than zcp but more boost top end. Slightly more peak power. BM3 CS+ - same as oem cs but with more boost top end. BM3 CSL - CS+ middle range and GTS top end. BM3 STG1 - significantly more boost (22-23psi) throughout rev range. BM3 STG2 - significantly more boost (23+psi) full range All of above maps are flashable with BM3. Personally oem cs isn't bad but I'd go with BM3 CS+. On that map revving to redline is worth it.
