M2c Street And Track Wheel Best Size

Hi all, I'm going a bit crazy here deciding what wheel width to purchase for my M2C, with 87 miles thus far. I come from a square wheel world set up for street and track cars so different front and rear wheel size is a challenge for me.

I'm not yet ready to put camber plates on, or even spacers as I have been that that road and want to keep it simple for now.

Am I correct in assuming 19x9 (et 29/30) all around is the best (only) square choice for width that will fit w/out modifications? thinking 763m so don't want to make an error with that cost.

That would leave me with 245 rear width max, which i wonder about.

plan is first to get winter tires and down the road use the wheels for track.

Thanks!

245 in the rear is just...waaaay too small.

A lot of people have been saying that fastest around the track is a staggered setup on the M2C. The only benefit to a square setup is that you can switch the front/rear for tire wear.
19x9+30 in the rear would need a spacer too...

Some people do 9.5+35 with a spacer in front, that's better than a 9 inch rim I think.

If I remembered correctly this topic has been covered before under the Wheels and Tyres section https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/fo...play.php?f=646

If you have the standard brakes then your options would be the same as the OG M2.

If you have the bigger brakes then your options would be much more limited due to clearance issue on some of the aftermarket rims.

I didn't see the M2 Comp wheel set up in the other section. i'll check it out.... I think I may need to stick to stock until camber and spacers are added. then maybe 19X10 265 all around ... thanks
