Can't stop Arab money.
White looks so good. Might have to switch from black.

That's a different market. I thought you would have progressed to "acceptance" by now

I guess BMW doesn't care about cars being delivered in the middle east before the official launch.
Congrats on getting your car.Did you purchase it from the same dealership as your F80 M3? http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=976284 |

Can you do a comparison of the M2 to your e90 M3? I had an e90 M3 so I am curious hearing your thoughts comparing the two.

Exactly, that's what he basically did with his F80 for the M3 forum members. I'm expecting the same for the M2!

I will definitely provide all the feedback.
The car is exciting and looks muscular. I was set on black orLong Beach Blue, then I saw the White live......I was sold It feels harsh a bit but it's more to do with the short wheelbase. I don't like the comfort/sport/sport + thing Wish they did it like the M3 and I really miss a programmable M button. Bkue stitching is nice too but I need to see if I can get some nice Recaro Pole Positions with blue stitching, that will look awesome. There is no drone on the car I have to now wait for a week till I come back and drive more. She needs a proper photo shoot. Wish BMW spent some time in adding more leather/alcantara. The dash pod looked good on my 1M since it was covered in Alcantara. |

I'm a little disappointed that your dealership failed to convince BMW to get you an Individual color, power dome, CF roof, M3 seats and M3 mirrors on your M2. What happened ?
Seriously though: congrats + drive it in good health.

The introduction of the F8X M cars was a whole new generation. Getting the first one of those is probably on a different level, so this one is his second F8X car and with that comes some tempered expectations.
Especially with the F80 not being as good as he expected... just kidding... Enjoy OP! Love the white there... |

Makes sense. BTW, I wasn't trying to start an F80>F87 comment. Hell, I sold my M4 last month and p/u an F-Type R coupe

Very nice. Congrats to you sir. Beautiful choice.
If you get time after your travels since you're probably one of the first to take delivery of your M2 and have previously owned an M4, give us some insight on driving and owning both cars. -driving differences (dynamics) -your opinion and which you like better We're all just very curious on a true ownership review so to speak, not some watered down review with bias. Thanks Congrats again. Many pleasant miles/km to you.

Honestly,
I am more excited with this than I was with the M3. Hence, I decided to take delivery of the car even though I was traveling in less than 12 hours. I just had to take it for a spin. I wish it was a manual so that I could see how it compares to the 1M. That car is still amazing and even when I sold the F80 M3, I kept the 1M I just have to live with having a sunroof on this kind of machine. DCT and chrome are ok to live with....but a sunroof......WHY !!! I am thinking, Porsche went great lengths to save 1KG from the 991 GT3 to the 991 GT3RS....and here we get this option.... the MOTOGP safety car sounds very similar to a Nissan GTR with an exhaust. Need to remove the cats and see how it will sound |
