Seems like everyone on here are discussing pricing
On brand new car that have just been landed. Just curious to know
Anyone here bought a Dealers demo car?
I’m somewhat in negotiations on a M2C, BBK
, alpine white, Black comp wheels, Comfort access,
Wireless charging, apple car play, heated seats.

Few weeks back I’ve test drove a M2C and a M3C back to back for 40min in each car. TBH I wasn’t really impressed with the M2C. The standard M2 drove and felt better. M3C had all the performance features I wanted but I hated the size of the car.
Coming from a heavily modded 135i n55 dct I felt let down in the M2C- saying that my expectations was met in the standard M2 and M3C for a stock car.

The sales guy calls me up couple days ago- tell me he allowing me to test drive the car overnight.

So I’ll be picking that up on Tuesday.
The differences from this car I’m test driving overnight it has the BBK

Ordered a M2C DCT, due at the end of the month. Haven't seen many around Brisbane... It's a 2018 build with 2019 Aus compliance plate.

RRP in QLD with full driveaway is $116,406. With Sunset Orange, sunroof, black 29U 488 wheels, wireless charging, and included servicing that comes to $123k, and I got 10% off that.

I found much less discount available off 2019 build cars, decided the difference would not be recovered at sale in a few years.

Very excited - patience is not my strong suit!

How did your test drive go? The s55 engine is very tunable so I'm sure it'll mean your expectations soon or later.

Congrats! I'm patiently waiting for mine to arrive as well. Seems QLD dealers aren't giving as big of a discount?

So I’ve taken the car for a test drive through the royal national park in Sydney
That evening. I was so sold on the car after that night. Test driving around the street for 40min doesn’t do it justice.. need to spend some time with it and go through twistie roads.

Congrats on the purchase! Did you buy brand new or a demo? Being in Sydney I presume you would have been able to get a sharp deal!

Just picked mine up today and took it straight to my detailer for some PPF and tinting work. Tempted by a slip on Akra already...

These cars are defiantly dropping in price. So the last 2 months ive been searching for the right M2c prices vary from high 90s to 120k

Right now BMW have up to 5k finance contribution towards your new/demo 2018 cars. it is a bit of a incentive to buy.

My purchase was a private- not a business or a lease.
I didn't get any extras like free servicing and all of that. just wanted the car on its own.. warranty ends August 2021

One of my mate also just did a deal in VIC for 93k

Well most of the M2c's in stock are 2018 build and compliance.

My purchase will be private, no finance required

Your mates car for 93k sounds right

Hmmm! Sub 90k is an amazing deal. Do share photos when you take delivery

Looks like I should wait a bit, EOFY coming and it may drop a tad further.

So I take it, you didn't opt for the 5 years free servicing?

These cars prices are no doubt dropping. Think its safe to say its been dropping around 3K every 2 months from what I had gauged.

I do have a feeling it might stall at low 90s on new/demo cars

No I didnt.. im a bit fussy on who works on my car and i dont want to see new scratch or marks front the dealership

To the dealership we are just a number and no matter how much we pay for out cars it is just another car to them.

Im in Sydney- just take it to HillEuroHaus the people i only trust with my cars

I bought mine in Vic October last year for 92k (unregistered) with 5 year servicing.

Registered in QLD (lower stamp duty), then transferred to VIC.

The only issue with forgoing dealer servicing is module updates (should be avoided recently with BM3), and warranty work. It makes sense to at least get the free oil changes/maintenance.

WRT goodwill after the warranty, this will be one more checkbox going against you if you need something (say for example a air to water intercooler) replaced out of warranty.

That is a great deal.
Thought I did ok considering not having any connection..

They were going to charge me a fare amount for extended warranty and extended service plan.Could not justify the addition 6k-7k.

I had every intention of getting a BM3 tune

Have you done any work to your M2C

was 92k fully loaded?

Understood! As I'm sure you may be aware tho, BMW servicing is now logged in the key and the iDrive, no more use of a hardcopy logbook. (F series)

May not affect your future re-sell if you keep all your receipts.
I suspect BMW did this to ensure majority of the customers bring it back to them for the maintenance side.

I'm sure you will look after yours better than your average owner

Look forward to seeing the pics!
