Possibly the adapter I have,
it’s an OBDlink CX

Threshold alerts have been added to support passive monitoring of oil/coolant/Intake temps while on track. Particularly helpful for us heat soaked OGs.

I can now monitor tire temps/pressures via iDrive and when a oil/coolant/iat threshold is reached there is a full screen iDrive alert notifying me.

They’re working within the confines of Apples CarPlay UI, but have done an exceptional job of building this product. Hat tip to the developers for pushing this forward.
