Another fairly substantial update for you guys!
The car is now tuned on ECUTEK! For anyone looking to go this route or do any kind of custom tuning I 100% recommended Bend Calibration! Between Ian and Joseph they have been extremely helpful! The products they are building are 100% great quality! They have Google drive documents that walk you through the ECUTEK process click by click. And trust me when I say I am not computer savvy at all! So it may seem more "complicated" than bootmod3 but ecutek is 100% worth it. I ran bootmod3 for a long time and it's very user friendly. But one of the things that drove me nuts was that data logging on my phone using the wifi agent or using Ethernet was always really weird. Programming in the IP for Ethernet was touchy and worked like 50% of the time. The wifi agent was also touchy for me. Idk. Like I said I'm not that computer savvy. For Ecutek bend sells a bad ass harness to tap the canbus and then run a high speed data logging obd2 port right off the can bus. I didn't know about the harness before I ordered. So I just received an obd2 port with 16 wires sticking out of it. As per the Google doc instructions and some help from Joseph I understood what to do. In the Google doc there's a picture and it shows you what pins on the obd2 harness you need to wire into the car. I used a multimeter and check the continuity and located the four wires for power, ground, can high/low. I wired that and the zeitronix Ethanol box into the canbus. The car is now on a true flex fuel tune with multi mapping and anti lag. The connection between the high speed port and the Bluetooth Ecutek obd2 plugin works amazing. It connects right up and works really simply. The app is very easy to learn. It's simple and does everything you could want to do very simply. I honestly like the Ecutek app a lot more then the bootmod3 app. We're going to continue pulling logs and making tweaks until I have a perfect flex fuel track tune and flex fuel max power tune. I really hope you guys appreciate this and it helps some people out! I post important stuff and try to post the answers to stuff I have trouble finding. |

I don't know how I ever missed your build thread. It was a great read! Looking forward to seeing your tuning progress

I changed out plugs when I went stage 2 BM3. On ecutek now with all the logs I've sent to my tuner he said spark seemed fine. I'm running "two step colder" NGKs

Been a little while! I bet you guys thought I was done! HA! Nevaaaaaa!
I scored a antigravity battery off of here. Then I got the battery tracker for it and a ctek charger. It all tucks in nicely and saves a boatload of weight. I also have nostrum s55 upgraded injectors to go in. This will allow us to run full e85 no problem and run a little Rich to hopefully help cooling. I also picked up 5.5" 60mm eibach springs to install on my kw clubsports in the front. This allows me to bring the spring perch up high to clear the top of the tire. This will give me plenty of clearance to run my 18x10et33 275 NT01 apex track wheels as a square set up. I'm the most stoked for this because I was killing front tires super fast in the past on track. |

Here's the battery. I've yet to code the car. But so far the battery is fine. I'll get around to coding it eventually, but the alternator output isn't hire than the max rate of charge for the battery so I'm not extremely concerned.

Tonight I got my Nostrum S55 upgrade injectors installed. The injectors came with decoupling rings and Teflon seals pre installed. The install was super easy with the help of the precision raceworks injector tool. This doubles as a puller and a Teflon seal squished. Great tool!
Flashed in the new tune from bend calibration and ran 7 logs of all types of driving! Can't wait to get the power turned back up and have this baby running on full e85. It's been quite the journey and a lot of money to get the car to the point where it'll run on full e85. But it will definitely be worth it to have the ability to run e85 at the track. With the PS2 and all the mods we weren't sure if my stock injectors would 100% keep up. So the nostrum upgrades were a future proof. |

Alright guys! It's been toooo freaking long. Here's the deal! To run kw clubsports and et33 wheels you need a 5.5" 60mm spring. Run the perch up high and you'll get clearance. 12.5mm wheel spacers. I took it one step further and had my fenders rolled. This will give me an extra 3-5 mm on fender clearance. Last thing I want to do is buckle the fenders.
Lastly I coated the wheels with shine supply beadlock wheel and suspension coating. I'll stack 2 layers and this will be good for about a year. Wheels are apex ec7 18x10 et33 wrapped in nitto NT01s. 275/35/18 |

Alright guys! Finally got to run the car!
Soo! This is MY OPINION. But from everything I've discussed here and figured out on this journey here's the recipe to make 18x10et33 square fit properly with NT01 275/35/18 tires. I'm running kw clubsports with a 5.5" 60mm 10kg or 572 lbs per inch front spring with the perches high. Camber plates are maxed out to the negative. I won't know until I align the car again but I'm guessing around -3.8 to -4 12.5mm wheel spacers. Rolled fenders. Ran the car hard in the canyons and it only rubbed on harsh dips that compressed the suspension. Turning and everything else seemed fine. Really hoping this nets me the ability to rotate tires and evenly wear them out. That was my goal going down this path to begin with. I know some of you have said I didn't need to do this or that. But this is how I feel it's best set up to clear everywhere and I'm glad I did it my OCD way. |

I definitely plan to get it on the dyno one day. Probably just to see what it'll lay down. On the street 2nd gear and above…monster is the best way to describe it. It's very fast and pulls hard

I'm happy to report that after all the mods she ran amazing at the track. Ambient was about 85-90*. I never saw temps over 220 water or oil. Plenty of power. She ran great on e85.
I did however have to play with suspension clicker settings to get the rear of the car to rotate better on turn in. I will continue to play with the clickers and hopefully make progress. In the canyons on the street the car is insane. It's absolutely a weapon. Also had a friend print some new brake scoops which fit much better and came out super clean! |

Got it done. I'm still waiting on my rivnut tool and rivnuts. My 2018 has the notch in the fender like others mentioned. So I'm hopeful I can install the rivnuts with my tool rather than a spanner tool.
I also put a 1/4" steel spacer between the firewall mount and the aluminum brace. I also notched the factory stamped steel braces. I feel the bay looks naked without them. I also have all new M2C plastics coming. For now I just hacked the stock ones. Driving this weekend! We'll see how she feels. With the cage in my car and all my suspension work I'll be surprised if I can feel a difference. But if I can, I expect it to feel even more balanced. The cage made the back of the car very stiff and I'm assuming that the front bracing will now make the front stiffer. |

Alright guys! Amazon delivered my nutsert tool! I used an m12x1.75 nutsert and popped them in the frame rail and bolted the brace in for the last time!
Also decided that I like it better with the engine cover on. Might scoop a turner carbon engine cover. |
