Real or fake CF Diffuser

I recently purchased a CF diffuser for my M2C advertised as new genuine BMW. It looks fine, but the manufacturers stickers on the back are making me worried I bought a fake. The part number is an older one that hasn't been in use for a while, but the production date indicates this year if I understand correctly. I'm no expert on these things though, so looking for thoughts while there is a chance for me to get it fixed. Thanks all.

It looks real to me too, did you purchased this diffuser new or used?

Looks pretty real to me - haven't seen any fake that go to the extent to put on fake manufacturer labels like that.

Genuine item should have the m performance logo etched on the bottom too.

The non-genuine products, generally, do not have the exposed carbon on that side of the diffuser as most are some sort of fiberglass with a carbon overlay. The side you see would be carbon, the side you mount would show black fiberglass/resin or other non-CF material.

Take a picture of the "M Performance" text on the bottom of the diffuser also. The text on the genuine article is very neat, uniform, and straight. The replicas tend to be "off" in some way or another.

Appreciate the responses. I'm just paranoid a bit. I saw the part number wasn't the latest and immediately thought the worse.

What are you expecting a 'newer' part number to be for this item?

I was expecting 51-19-2-361-666. When I did searches for the part number I have, it appeared it was a part that was superseded years ago, but the manufacturing date of mine appears to be in 2021 and that confuses me. I didn't think superseded parts were manufactured anymore.

Realoem appears to be confused by the number in the picture as it lists as:
From 2016
To 2014.

And says it wasn't found (which it was...)

This listing has the same part number:

This is correct.

NON-Geniune just do not go to this effort to make them look real. No point.
