Differential squeeking??

I had exactly the same issue. Came and went by itself, no squeaking anymore.

I have the squeak. It’s intermittent but had it for about 15k miles. As described, sounds like it’s the passenger rear. Always just assumed it was the brakes.

Reviving an old thread. I've been trying to figure out what the hell this sound is, anyone ever get a definitive answer? It's driving me nuts.
