powder coating 437's
Hi all. Love my 437 wheels, but hate the "2 tone" color. Also, try as I might, I just can't get into the all black wheel look. I'm going to have my wheels powder coated in some charcoal grey metallic color. My question is: does anybody know a reputable powder coating place in the LA/SoCal area? I live in Pasadena, but I'm willing to drive a reasonable distance. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How did you get on with this?
I’m looking to powdercoat my 437’s but I can’t decide between full gloss black or a very dark anthracite / grey |

437 WHEELS
I had my wheels done by Kings Powder Coating in Placentia, and I'm very happy with the results. Got them done in "Ultra Black Chrome", which looks great. Quite similar to the silver 437's on a M3/4, but slightly darker. I will try to get pics up ASAP, but its raining here, so will have to wait. I actually bought a set of silver 437's off an M4 to run while mine were being coated, so I will have those for sale soon.

Not the color I was expecting when I read "black chrome" but I really like it!

I personally do not like dark black wheels. That's why I can't stand my 437's.
Not a bad looking wheel. I was also thinking of re-finishing. |
