Pretty neat, but I dont think I'll be able to make it.

That being said, you should try to make your way up to Grattan Raceway on September 18-20th for the BMWCCA HPDE

Last I checked there were no full day spots left which is what I really want to do. Maybe I should get on the wait list. The full day schedule is more appealing.

I totally agree. The drifting part and the M2 Comp would be fantastic. Nothing like burning up someone elseís tires!! I just need to get out and drive so at least the half day should be fun.

Just get on the wait list and see what happens.

I'll be coming from Columbus on the 16th, so about 3 hours for me. I will aim to be at the track location at about 4. Would be great to meet up, I'd especially love to hear the Akra exhaust enjanir . I have AA mid pipe and Remus Race rear.

I'm doing full day on 17th but staying overnight and home after the event.

Any feedback on the event? In your opinion, was it worth the money? Half day / full day?

I did the half day session and I would say it was worth it if just to do the laps on the F1 track. The drag racing part was boring. The autocross module only allowed for one recon lap and 2 timed laps. I would have preferred doing more autocross or F1 course driving. My group for the full track was competent so the instructor cut loose and we nailed some decent laps hitting 155 on the straight and banging hard through the corners to the edge of grip.

I think the better bang for your buck with a manufacturerís track day is the Porsche experience. There you get a car and an instructor all to yourself and the ability to choose how much time you spend in each module. You want to perfect your drifting for three hours...go for it. You want to focus on nailing apexís you can. It is more expensive and doesnít get you on a F1 circuit.

I hope that helps.
