Torn on what to recommend for that use case. I want to say P4S, due to low temp nature of autocross and only doing 1 track day.
From Tire Rack feedback, seems the RE71-RS is more track vs autocross focused, but that might be them being nitpicky. I don't think you can really go wrong with either, as long as you realize limits of P4S |

You are right...so I guess I'm really deciding between these options in that 255/275 size. I don't think I track enough to benefit from the extra width. 71-RS are backordered right now, so P4SS or AD-09.

I was getting annoyed with the availability issues and went ahead & ordered the AD09s...I signed up for an autocross 9/18 so I'll report back and let you know how I like them after that event!

I'm running both PS4S (Street) and Cup-2 Connect's (Track) in 255/275-35-19 on an M2C. Both sets are on rims a half-inch wider than stock.
Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em. Did I mention that I love 'em? Some thoughts-- The PS4S are probably about the best performing street tire I've ever had-- far, FAR better than the Super Sports that came on the car. They're wearing well, look great, are quiet, have a ton of grip, handle well, and are just overall fantastic-- even in the wet. I went with -35's instead of -30's as the roads in Colorado are..... not so much of the good. Every. Single. Shop. that I talked to recommended the -35's instead of "rubber bands wrapped around a wheel" if I wanted to keep my rims intact on what we laughingly refer to as "roads". After driving on the -35's for a while, I wouldn't have gone any other way. I really like how they look and love not having to cringe every time I go over an imperfection in the road-- they just might be the perfect road tire. The Cup-2 Connects? Great tire for HPDE's, but the softer compound and 3400 lbs. of weight are taking a toll. They're MUCH noisier and firmer than the PS4S-- I don't think I'd really like them very much if I had to live with them as a street tire-- they pick up EVERY SINGLE ROCK AND SPECK OF DIRT on the road and promptly toss it up into the undercarriage, and the stiffer sidewall definitely effects ride compliance. But- they're a full-on hoot on the track and the grip is pretty damn amazing coming out of a corner. My track is about 90 minutes away so I just swap out wheels/tires before driving there-- it's not worth trying to figure out how to get a set of tires and a lift to the track with me. The Cup-2's CAN start to get a little greasy at the tail end of a session, but that's in hard driving (upper intermediate/lower advanced) on a 95+ degree day on asphalt. I've been running them 35F/34R hot, and that seems to be pretty good to allow for good hookup of the rear. My only complaint is the Cup-2's wear rate (which is to be expected with the compound). I've got three HPDE's and one track day on them so far, and I think I'll be lucky to get to six days total. They're not... inexpensive, so that's going to involve a lot of groveling to the Wife and swapping them out every six track days or so. Overall, would I recommend the PS4S for Street and the Cup-2 Connect for Track in 255/275-35-19? ABSOLUTELY. Barring going to an -18 setup and BBK, I think this is the best setup I can imagine for an M2C-- I'm very, VERY pleased with how it's all worked out. I wish they weren't quite as expensive, but in some respects, you do get what you pay for. From what I can tell, my only two options in a "street-legal" track tire in these sizes would be the Bridgestone Potenza RE-71RS or the Yokohama Advan Neova AD09. But, since my wheel/tire/suspension combination is VERY tight, I haven't sat down to do serious research on whether the Bridgestone or Yokohama's would fit-- what I have works, so maybe not rocking the boat is a good thing. As a data point, here's my suspension related setup if it matters-- I have no rubbing with a moderate drop (i.e. a compromise between street livability and track days with minimal to no adjustment): - Apex Anthracite EC-7 wheelsets (F:19x9.5, ET28, 22.65 lbs. & R:19x10.5, ET45, 23.4 lbs) - BMW M-Performance (compression & rebound adjustable) coilovers - Millway Street camber plates (~ -2.5F, -1.9R) - Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 255/35/19 & 275/35/19 tires for Street - Michelin Pilot Sport Cup-2 Connect 255/35/19 & 275/35/19 tires for Track R.
