Backlights looks different than the photos, more red. I think it looks better on the configurator.

I can only select black and brown interior on the M240i... no red? Perhaps just a glitch on the configurator.

Here it is in blue... I will need to see this car in person. A lot of strange angles that I'm not sure I really like.

Those M sport seats are a nice upgrade. Do we get those in the US?

Agreed and default M seats I'm not sure that will be the case 'FOC' as it's not on the X3/4 and 3/4/4GC cars. MSport seats default and in more colour options and M seats in black and brown.

Some things I don't understand with the design:
-Triangles in the front bumper
-Black rocker panels
-Bangle butt

Overall this car looks overstyled but that seems to be the prevailing theme with G-chassis BMWs. Not a deal-breaker, but just makes me scratch my head as to why.

It looks to be a new feature that was listed in the specs in the other thread. It’s the illuminated m accents package. It actually looks like a permanent M logo in the pic.Its kinda cool looking.

The black rocker panels just ruin the look for me. No way I could own this car without painting them body color.

What's up the with the triangle hate? I don't get it, it's just a design like other shapes you'd find on other cars.

Yes, it's new. It was mentioned in the press release, and I highlighted it in my initial post in that thread. But it seems to have escaped the attention (ire?) of the mob. There are far more important things to take issue with! Don't worry, I trust that it will come under heavy scrutiny and be absolutely lambasted soon enough.

Thanks for posting that picture, by the way. It shows the versatility of the display. I'm sure people will be displaying emojis in no time. Or perhaps colorful commentary about the feature itself.

Was asking myself this last night reading through the threads. I don't get it. Looks good to me.

You can see it in Carwow's video a bit better.

It's probably just a part of the general BMW hate, not because there's anything wrong with the design, but simply because it's BMW.

I think overall its a solid design and worlds better than 4series.

The rear end could have been executed better with taillights and bumper. I think the M2 with the wider hips and quad exhaust will look great.

Its definitely more aggressive in a good way compared to the last gen. I can’t see too many ppl buying the M440i over this.

Thanks.I did watch that but they only show the colors and not the M logo. That’s why i wasn’t sure if it was a permanent logo or not.The M logo should look really good, especially at night.

Does anyone know if you will be able to get the thunder night metallic in the 230i US version? or is that color going to be exclusive to the M model?
