Minichamps M2 CS interest thread

I guess I got excitable and ordered a second version of a 1:18 Misano Blue with Black Wheels… Got the second one today. Deciding if I want to bring one to work and keep one at home and use for car shows or to sell one. Second one looks identical to the first minichamps model I got, as expected.

I gave one to my son and I'm taking the other to work. The brake calipers bother me. I think it's mainly because it was just assembled wrong and could have been avoided.

With two, maybe I'll be more aggressive with one of them to make the swap and maybe even get my calipers gold like my CCB car.

I didn't see them listed.

The M2 OG and M2C are long out of production. They commanded some hefty prices on auction sites a few months ago but that seems be easing.

003E is correct. They were a limited run and I got mine customised with my plates and spec. Since I have traded that car now it is quite dear to me as a reminder of the actual car.

Interested in MB/Black if you decide to sell. Although I am in Aus so might not be viable with shipping.
I really need a 1/43 but don’t think they are doing MB/Black in that size 🙁

They haven't released the 1:43 version yet. Last I saw, it's supposed to be out next month.

Same thing happened to me. I placed the order over a year ago. At the time there was no black or gold wheel option. But I placed a note in the comments box requesting gold wheels. I emailed Minichamps pointing this out and they arranged the return of the model and I am awaiting the correct replacement item.

That's painful to read. I hope they don't mess mine up; I'd be bummed out if they send the wrong wheels after almost 16 months' wait

I received mine today. Haven't taken it out of the box. BSM with red calipers and gold wheels.

Same caliper issue as others.

I reached out to Minichamps to see if I can exchange my MBM with black wheels to a MBM with gold wheels to match my car. Their response is below:

Unfortunately the blue model with the gold rims will not come out we only have white and grey like this.

I was billed back in August with Aug ETA then Sept and finally received an updated ETA of 2 weeks to go. Also requested gold wheels. We shall see!

Their response was puzzling to me too.

I’m fine with it. Now I’ll never have to wonder what my car will look like with black wheels.

I have not received mine yet HK, gold wheels. But I must give a big shout to Max Lang @ Minichamps. He really came through for me when some how my order wasn't placed. Look forward to it finding a home in my garage!
