'DSC Off' Light

I just finished installing the red M1/M2 buttons and everything went fine, until I started the car and the DSC Off light came on and won't go away.

I'm aware that after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, the iDrive system will prompt me to set up the date and time, which I did.

I'm not sure why this DSC light came on and won't go away.

Anyone know what to do and how to fix it?

This should go away after you drive the car for a short distance. The computers are just making sure all the sensors and inputs are operating correctly before allowing dsc to operate.

Same happened to me after installing the same buttons. Take it for a drive and don't be alarmed if more random lights or warnings pop up and then dismiss.

Thanks guys, I was worried that I might have pinched something by mistake when reassembling everything, even though it was all straight forward.

After reading both replies, I started the car, put it in reverse to take it out of the driveway and the DSC Off light went away immediately and stayed off.

Thanks again for the helpful tip, really appreciate it.
