Sometimes, my M2C brakes are a bit touchy or grabby, at very low speeds, like walking speeds.

But they are always very powerful and positive at speed.

I like this!

I have 3.5k on the brakes and every now and then. - they bite a tad much for me.

let's recap
first day - broken, "bad fuel rail sensor"
wasn't that, needed new HPFP stage 2
get car back, keep it under 5500, its ok
break in service done this week
first time to 6500 and...

FML

also making a noise on tire rotation. sort of scraping once per rev.. don't see evidence of a stone between wheel an caliper or anything..

Sorry to hear this...

It does sound like you have a pebble stuck around the brake shield. I haven't had this happen with the M2, but it happened a few times in my F80. I was always able to eventually get it out by pulling on the brake shields and doing some hard braking.

GL!

wouldn't surprise me. God damn rocks everywhere! paving jobs here, oil and gravel there, construction here. can't have a nice car in NJ.

Waiting for the call about what the issue is this time.

I love/hate this car.

hopefully I have the kind of relationship with the dealer that we don't have to get lawyers involved.

You had to replace the HPFP, I thought this issue was resolved long ago?

yeah I had hoped so. HPFP stage 2 was replaced, at around 100 miles so I was still in break in and not taking it up past 5500, and it seemed fine.

get through break in service and find a nice straight mexican road and so I'm letting it breathe and at 6500 RPM in 4th ding ding drivetrain malfunction..

so maybe something else going on in fuel subsystem? who knows? Waiting for the latest prognosis today...

This is odd. Not a regular occurrence from what I know. I've had mine 5100 miles so far and zero issues except for what looks like my dealer forgetting to fill the engine with oil completely and getting the low oil warning.

Does the crank hub slip cause a drivetrain warning or something else?
