No, they are not.

All M2C's in the USA got the 788M. Some purchased the 763M and had them dealer installed, but all came with the 788M.

That was not an option at the time of purchase. The car likely came with the 788s, and these were purchased after. While some are saying these are OEM, they could be replicas too, so better to check

This is not factual either. I have the special content model (ZED) which came with the same 763M wheels as the M2CS from the factory.

Both the black shadow (M2) and futura (M2C) editions came with the 763M, which represent 550 cars, and they are both BLACK. The car in the picture isn't either.

What is this ZED you speak of? It came in LBB with 763M from the factory?

yes and no. I have a set in silver and do like the way they look but they are very generic imo (that said I do like the 788s). I do like that they show the caliper

My understanding is that nobody wanted the futuras and so bmw pivoted and used the leftover seats from the futura to create the “special content package.”

Basically 763M wheels and two tone white leather seats (same seats as normal comps but different colors.)

I remember it being super inexpensive for what you got (763ms) and that I wish it’d been an option for my car as I feel like the special content package only ran for a few months. I don’t love the seats, but they’re very unique.

I’ve run across a couple special content packages in the wild, you can always tell by the white upholstery.

Came in Hockenheim Silver only, and only 120 of these produced. While not many, the point still stands.

If I am not mistaken, these wheels are 1/2in more narrow than what comes from factory, for what it's worth.

No, and they are not the stock size for summer tires either. The 641M are 8.5" width front and 9" rear. The stock 788M are 9" front and 10" rear.
