Replaced straightaway the 19" 788M wheels featuring 245/35 R19 + 265/35 R19 PSS tires on my new M2C with my existing 19" 763M wheels (originally black, finished in Orbit Grey last year, which matches well with silver brake calipers and BSM body color + an additional McGard wheel lock bolt per wheel) featuring 255/35 R19 + 275/35 R19 PS4S tires.

I didn't know if we had M performance exhaust for M2C.

Looks great!

How do you like the 255/275 setup? Do you have any other photos?

I wonder if Akrapovic builds that exhaust, that price is close to what they charge!

How much clearance to the fender liner at full lock?

Also, got my foam cannon up and running. Not quite as thick as I'd like at the moment.

Finally got around to Ceramic Coating the 788's since cleaning them is not so fun, and they demand a lot of cleaning. I may be in the minority on it, but I do like the 788's for now. Will have to see how the coating holds up.

Used GTECHNIQ C5 Wheel Armour. Cleaned the snot out of the wheels and have my fingers crossed on the results since I've never ceramic coated anything before. Results looked pretty good.

Hey, looks great!

Forgive my ignorance but wouldn't most abrasive wheel cleaner just instantly eat away at the Ceramic Coating?

How long you estimate before you have to replenish it?

From what I have read, simple soap and water should wash the brake dust away. I don't plan to use any wheel cleaners. However, I'll have to see how well I did the cleaning/applying first. It's supposed to last for 2+ years if applied correctly although I have read that it has lasted longer than that for some people.

Not today perse, but I discovered my M2C steering defaults to Sport mode... Don't know why. Upon startup, it's in Sport steering. When I come out of my M1 or M2 driving mode, it goes right back to Sport.

Good point. There are specific products to clean ceramic coated wheels, more similar to a soap than a normal wheel cleaner.

You would definitely have to us something PH neutral if you want that ceramic coating to last. I've never used anything but car soap for my wheels and never ran into any problems.

I think dedicated wheel cleaning chemicals are only useful for wheels that go months in between cleaning to really get the brake dust off. I haven't had any problems getting brake dust off any of my family cars as I wash them regularly. I do use Optimum Power Clean to clean the tires but other than that I just use car soap. Meguiars Hyper Wash at the moment.

You could top off the coating every wash with a spray wax/sealant. Or maybe one of those soap+wax combos but I never use those.

Sure, but some ordinary soaps can be too aggressive and eat away the ceramic coating, better to use specific products.

They do have a specific cleaner to maintain the coating, but I'm not sure that I'll be that dedicated. I'll just use a microfiber mitt and a wheel woolie with some decent car and/or wheel soap and see how it goes.

Yup, normal.

Sport is the "normal" "middle" setting. An M2 has sporty pretences so that seem logical.

If you want extra light steering for parking etc then you can select "comfort" or sport+ the other way.

If it wasn't for environmental regulations you can bet the engine would also default to sport mode too (which would also be logical). It's only because fuel efficieny tests have to be done in the default mode that the engine starts in efficient mode.

Steering therefore can follow logic and common sense and start in "sport"

On the highway I actually keep it in Efficient mode mostly. Other than that, its Sport+ and MDM (as long as the girl isn't in the car). I actually picked my M2C up form Baltimore, and stopped in DC for a couple days. That trip was a smooth 600 miles, got break in done at 1000 on the dot. Now I don't think there's a day that goes by where I don't hit 7000rpm.

I always wondered what orbit grey wheels would look like on the M2C and it was something I still plan on doing to my own!

But dam this looks good! I bet it looks even better in person always felt the CS wheels look a little weird in photos.
