He really liked the M2 so he's going to really like the M2C. I have to imagine he's going to like the extra power and as long as the extra weight doesn't get in the way I feel he may declare it the best current M car.

And who actually takes all reviews seriously and takes into consideration that people who might buy that car are watching the review and rely on his judgement.

I still didn't get over Clarkson's m135i vs Golf GTI review. Not only that he actually seriously compared 3.0 i6 320hp rwd to 2.0 i4 245hp fwd (GOLF R was already released back then) he declared Golf the winner because amongst other details, one could "put nuclear warhead in boot without other people noticing it". Oh and he was surprised of completely losing traction on sport+ at about 180km/h on wet airfield with probably really bad tires.
Yes, its fun and entertaining, but it's not a serious review.

I'm with you MR, I've always regarded Chris Harris reviews as the 'gold standard' so holding out for this one to see what he thinks.

He was also a big fan of the M3 when a lot of others didn't like it.

My 1M had the Akra. My M2 has the MPE. Each got their own character. I like both. The M2 additionally features the overrun sounds pushed through the MPE.

love the composure and calmness from Chris' videos. He has worked out long time ago, 1M is the keeper, like a 50yrs old marriage, the new M2 is pretty, young and tight, just reminds how beautiful your 1M once was.

Henry Catchpole is a must add to that list imho. I'm not sure whether he's still at EVO, but you can catch him on Carfection (youtube). Great channel.
