Cant wait for my BSMM2 to arrive...
You will absolutely love it!!!!! Agree that pics do not do it justice. Also the BSM certainly exaggerates the lines of the car due to the varying reflections. LBB probably does that also.

From cheapest to the most expensive (and arguably the best).

Nanolex is a retail cleaning/polishing range and should last a month or two.
Ceramic Pro 9H is applied by authorised detailers and guaranteed for up to 5 years or lifetime depending on the package. It's similar to Opticoat Pro, CQuartz, GTechniq, etc
Xpel is a self healing film so will give better protection against stone chips and scratches.

There are short-term coatings that last up to 3yrs (C.Quartz UK, C.Quartz Finest, Optimum Gloss, 22PLE)and then there are long term coatings that last 5+ years (Opti Coat Pro, Modesta, Gtechniq Crystal Serum, Ceramic Pro 9H).

At the end of the day you pay your money and make your choice but always look for a professional detailer who is experienced and knows what he's doing, don't choose one on price.

ive personally always been a big fan of Black with carbon as it is a little more subtle but you can definitely tell its there. I prefer it to say carbon on white.

These products aren't comparable. I have nanolex and xpel on my car. The nanolex doesn't only last a month or two. DetailersDomain can chime in there.

reppucci Congrats! Happy to see another M2 in the Tristate area.

That must be the dumbest quote on the internet - everything is comparable be it on cost, longevity, durability etc.

Maybe nanolex lasts longer than a few month however, I don't see mention of warrantied time period, just a mention of up to 12 months on their website for SI3D.

No need for your condescending tone but I guess I shouldn't expect more from a former Porsche owner.

I won't bother actually getting into product detail since you clearly know everything and you're SO much smarter than me.

good to know. I wouldn't want to have to be 2" from it to know its cf...like how it sometimes looks in pics-have to zoom in to see it.

Thanks

For the record:

Bronx boy married to Queens girl... if one can't figure out which corner I am in ... obviously never been on a handball court either!

Got your back ...... but doubt very much you need any help!
