It's the quality of the pics. With black you can see more detail when it comes to the contours of the body. In these pics, even the black part of the wheels look silver.

Yeh it's just a bad quality pic, making a decision on this color based on this pic would be a disservice. Have to wait for better quality pics.

The levels of these pictures (taken in the dark) are so off that no one should be basing any judgements of the M2 in Black Sapphire. If pictures were taken of a LBB M2 in poor lighting with a phones camera everyone would be saying it's a terrible looking color.

This has to be a hidden camera or something because I can't imagine any phone/point&shoot producing such bad quality photos in this day and age unless it's on purpose! I like BSM, but it would probably be my last choice.

Wish MG looked like that, but it tends to have a blue/purple hue depending on the lighting.

It's not like they go away physically with black paint.

Azurite black, Jerez black, or even carbon would've looked better than BSM

Fangs give it character, make it look unique, and prevent it from being another standard 3 intake bumper.

It's why the M235i looks bland and melts into the sea of cars on the highway.

Fangs are my favorite part of the design, and I think most people would agree, but I guess if you like the most conservative and traditional look then they won't be your thing.
