You don't think maybe as a previous thread had shown, that those flarred fenders may have been screwed on?

There's about an inch between the tire and the fender, never seen that on a stock vehicle, looks like its already lowered, flares are fake IMO.

I saw that, too. My guess is drivers were probably getting their donut fix. KK's are good. Not the best, but good.

The lights may not be production but that width is..: BMW is fast-tracking the M2 and there could be a M2GC

They need to get the hot weather climate testing done ASAP

All because of the upcoming Golf RS, Audi S3/RS3, Focus RS, CLA 45 S... The 4C is pretty quick and the competitor is stepping up in the sports compact arena

Leads me to believe there could be a hotter version of the M2 in the future depending on the competition/climate

BMW always has a backup plan but will only use it when necessary

if there was a M2GC, don't you think that there would be a 2 series Gran Coupe before hand? As per usual, the M cars are high performance versions of existing cars--- the M2 now, 1M, M3, M4, M5, M6, M6 GC, X5, X6...and in the past, Z3 and Z4. All except the M1 and Z8, which were "special" halo cars.

I hope this isnt what the final production is going to look like. Its wayyy too similar to the m235. Such a highly anticipated car...u think they would come out with a bang

I'm sure when the car is unveiled with the front, rear bumper and side profile, all this "similar" talk will be silenced

The ~2017 1 series sedan on the UKL platform can also accommodate an inline-6. I don't see BMW pimping out a regular 2GC but could see the effort on the M2GC or M240IGC. If the M2 is presented in greater volume and is a great seller then I can see the business case for such a model. However, if there is a global downturn again or the M2 is not as differentiated from the M235i or better than the F80 well then I'm not sure. You bring up a valid point. Maybe Scott can tell us a new clue that will keep us on edge.

I think I spot a fake panel. Look at the ridges within the red lines I added. I'm thinking that piece is fake and it will be more like the GT6 opening - large.

Yes this has been discussed a lot. It's just camo skin covering part of the intake.

I'm surprised no one has created a new render based on all the threads in this forum. But I suppose it'll look like the concept GT6 that took a Xanax.

Right?!?! I keep saying it, we already have the M2 concept: the Vision GT6. None of the new renders are executing the rear or front aero based on what we know.

I am going out on the limb...

I am going to go out on a limb and say that styling-wise this is another missed opportunity.

This is a car aimed at the young to inspire the next genration of enthusiats (and dynamically it is sure to be mega) so why didn't they do something bold with the M treatment like the 1 M? It should have been like the Grand Tourismo concept; boy would that have been something!

Why oh why does BMW continue to produce vanilla in a time when others are churning out chili chocolate?

I agree, and why didn't they get rid of that horrible hood line.

It will be like the Vision Gt6. The car still has loads of camo on.

Man, can't wait till it's reveled so it silences the critics.
