Rossi is my hero, but props to Hamilton. I don’t know if Hamilton is an experienced rider but the consequences of getting it wrong on a bike are way higher. Having ridden for most of my life, I’d be scared shitless to do a lead-follow lap with Rossi on a GP bike.

Bit of a Rossi fan myself...I believe he span the F1 car 3 times and Hamilton dropped the bike once. Hamilton got within 4 secs of Rossi's lap which doesn't sound too shabby.

After watching that video, I have more respect for Lewis.

He certainly didn't hold back in the corners.....

That almost made me a Lewis fan, I better not watch it again.

Maybe they suggested it after a couple of spins....even Vettel has been know to spin in races by getting on the power too hard after a turn.

The onboard from Hamilton on the bike.

I'm impressed by just how quick both of them go with unfamiliar machinery.

I understand Rossi has had some rally racing experience. Also I seem to recall when there was talk about whether Rossi would continue in GP racing that there were some discussions with an F1 team about him moving over.

INCREDIBLE onboard video....HAM was really getting after it on two wheels; ROS looked incredibly impressive on four wheels.

Great video, thanks for sharing!

I'm not sure how anybody can't like Hamilton. He's basically the epitome of long term drive, excellence, and professionalism. I've heard zero negativity concerning anything in his personal life either, the guy is just a boss.
