Happy mid week all. So boredom struck today and decided to get my subtle IC & Charge Pipe upgrade fitted.

First impression of the Wagner will always be nothing short of impressive. Of course there a multiple other great brands out there but I we had this unit in stock.

The build quality and finish was fantastic. I was extremely stoked at how much bigger the new IC was compared to the stock IC. Fitment was relatively easy as it was plug & play and all you needed was 90mins of your time if you plan to DIY.

The VRSF Charge Pipes were just wow. The build quality was great and I was mind blown how much more free flowing the design was compared to stock with smooth bends instead of kinks that I suspect disrupts airflow.

The vehicle is pending it's next phase of getting its FI-Exhaust catless turbo-back valvetronic system after its officially registered and will finished it off with the Stage 2 plus from VF-Engineering.

The upgrade did enhance the overall acceleration as the turbo was able to spool freely with almost no restriction but most of all the intake draft is mental despite running a stock air box.

I'm hoping that the software will help smoothen out the idling and overall drive experience.

Hey guys thanks for the love. Sorry I've been quite lately. Work has been choc-a-bloc the last week so didn't even have time to drive my M since fitting the IC and Charge Pipes till today.

damn M still isn't registered but received word that it will be next Tuesday, so I'm a happy chap.

In response to PAL, the stock Intercooler weighs worlds less than the Wagner given the dimensions as below:
[B]Stock[B]- 510mm x130mm x110mm @ 5.2kgs

Wagner Competition- 520mm x215mm x145mm @ 8.5kgs

I do understand some people may say it's pointless to change the IC however figured I may as well since I was swapping out the change pipes to prep for water methanol injection and a Stage 2 Plus Flash.

Thanks amelia.f87m2. 3.3kg (7.3lbs) is a decent amount to add right on the nose. But a larger intercooler is almost a requirement for a stage 1/2 turbo car, especially if you plan to bring it to the track.

Are you going to get a before/after dyno once you start to add power mods?

Tell me about the weight right. I was a lil taken back but weight off the trade off. I plan to make a trip to get the car dyno-ed at some point hopefully after the 27th May.

Why so long? My car isn't officially registered yet as the authorities have no consideration whatsoever for being efficient at their jobs.

So I was wondering if anyone has had the experience of Signature Wheels? Why I'm asking is because a "friend" forced me to sell him my Vorsteiner Vff103s after curbing his wheels and so I'm kinda chuffed of not having any aftermarket wheels for now.

Signature wheels impression seem to credible and I've heard from instagram buddies that their build quality is amazing as they're track oriented.

I have to say though though I miss the Vorsteiner, let me know what you think of the wheels I'm keen on " Signature 3 Two piece Flagship".

Finally received most of my CF goodies from RKP and they're undergoing installation.

I'm excited to fit my GP kit, M-performance grille and Bmw Motorsport tow strap BUT am a lil torn with the idea of installing my wing as it involves drilling.

Do you think it's worthwhile to buy a spare trunk or CF trunk for that matter for the wing attachment?

Just waiting for my tune to go in and my Snow Performance Water Methanol kit to go in but more on that when it arrives.

Finally turned to a solution against our hot temperate climate in our neck of the woods, The Stage 2 water methanol kit and 49/51 blend.

Install was fairly straight forward given that the VR Speed charge pipe had its bung hole set to go and BMW Dealer technician was kind enough to support me with the wiring job to ensure me of no intermittent errors.

Overall, I appreciate the simplicity of the Snow Performance Stg 2 system and after hours of fiddling with settings, the car performs worlds better with the fresh breath of compressed air.

After numerous months of neglect and not driving this girl, I decided to wrap the M2 in a colorshift peacock colorway instead of doing a respray for now.

Given that the vehicle has only put on 4875miles since collection from the dealer, I'm looking at the option of upgrading the turbo to the Pure Turbo Stage 2 or TTE550 with the HPFP Upgrade from XDI. Has anyone fitted either of these turbos to compare?

Figured it's be a nice Xmas present for my other half as he's agreed to take the M2 as I'm looking to jump into something different.
