Penske vs Ohlin's ttx
I'm in the process of building a roadmap for my new M2C ultimate street class track build. Do you guys have any experience with Penske or Ohlins TTX as it relates to the platform its self? I have a set of TTX's on another car which I enjoy; however, I'm really looking for guidance / feedback with running them on this platform.
Thanks! |

I didn’t think there were any Penske options for this platform at this point. In the same realm as the Penske and Ohlins, I’m completely blown away by my MCS coilovers. More compliant and better handling than stock with much stiffer springs, and great adjustability. 10/10 would recommend.

My friend used to be a MCS dealer, but he told me that he's switching back to JRZ. He used to have a F80, and had JRZ on those before returning his F80 lease and switching from being a JRZ dealer to MCS.
I'd go with either JRZ or MCS, just because they're cheaper than the Ohlins, and that Penske doesn't make shocks for our car. When I get coilovers sometime at the end of the year, I personally will be going with JRZ, just because I know multiple shops that use JRZ and it's just not that one aforementioned friend.

Off the shelf 2 way remotes. In the front, 6"x500# springs w/ helpers. The rear is 9"x800# springs on TC Kline perches, no helper. I did not go with full coil-overs in the back. I started with 8" but ran out of adjustment to get the right ride height. It looked like the car had a saggy diaper.

I had JRZ RS2s on my E92, and they were incredible. Very good street manners, and made the car feel telepathic on the track. I can only imagine RSpro or Motorsport grade JRZs are mind-blowing. For the price of TTX, you could get shirmer spec Nitron,
