HS: I just love it. Reminds me of the old 2002 turbo.
DST: Aside from a brief period with a Scorpion in 1986 I’ve only owned manual cars. But I liked the DST a lot when I test drove a current M2. It will let me tolerate Sydney traffic and possibly remove the homicidal tendencies I have towards Camry drivers that inch up to traffic lights from 50m away. Possibly. When driving it’s like a PlayStation. This will help me beat my son’s times in Gran Tourismo. Standard 788 wheels: I went back and forward about the black ones but decided the normal ones look best on HS. Black ones probably nicer on other colours though. Exciting. |

Sale price of motor vehicle $95714. Dealer delivery is circa 6k and no joke i just laughed. Make sure to check if your work is part of the BMW corporate programme as this should bring it down to circa 2k with free servicing. Delivery is slated for end September if order in July. Drive away price $119 with some options. So based on others feedback here pretty consistent. On a side note a friend just bought an M3 Comp and during negotiations they were 125k firm for a M2C. NFI for what spec I also asked about the varying base price between dealers and the sales agent was confused why that is the case. I suspect the end price is what counts and the magical calculations in between are not relevant which is frustrating from a buyers standpoint. Attached is the public facing spec guide that complements the pricing someone else posted. Interestingly the piano black interior trim is missing from the options. Only signed on weekend so have zero detail. Agent said + contract have this date. Will confirm once I have more detail but not holding my breath.
On a side note did your contract have the correct chassis code and description. I was told that the AU systems still don't have the correct details.

Your dealer should have the production numbers and build weeks for the cars they have been allocated already, so would be worth asking them. |

Before on roads. And there is a Pure. You lose electric seats, comfort access, adaptive lights, HK (you get Hi-Fi instead), and 2QT wheels

I think you're referring to the Original M2 and M2 Pure and not the M2 Competition that has no official pricing announcement from BMW Australia yet.

Might explain why we are so behind on BMW releasing the information locally if they have decided to add a pure late in the piece.
If WAY is correct and base coupe price is 105 then add 11600 for LCT 4.9k for stamp duty 6k for dealer delivery your at circa 127 on road. I reckon most wont pay that for a M2

The question remains, if Pure is manual only, as before, then a $5k base price delta is not big enough when you add in the stuff above plus a DCT. Interesting
