641s are 8.5" up front and 9" in the rear, so theoretically you could go up to a 255 in the front and a 265 in the rear. 27 mm (f) and 29 mm (r) offsets though, the stock is 29 mm and 40 mm.

It doesn’t really matter what tire width you put on. Winter time is a great time to have fun with your M2 anyway

Haven't hit any snow yet just some rainy days and they feel good. Narrower is typically better for winter tires as they can cut through fresh snow better. Wider is better for packed snow. I'm not overly concerned about loss of performance benefits. I mostly want a safe ride/legal ride for 3-4 months then back to fun. I'll chime back in once I'm faced with some snow.

Good find, the M4 winter wheel made me go looking. I found the F80s set and it has a 255 square setup on the same wheels.

I took the jetblack 641M. My dealer will install those winter wheels simultaneously with the 2000kms oil change. The car has 1700 kilometers so I think that I will do it in one or two weeks

This thread made me do some research. The last time that it snowed in Sydney was 1836. Pilot Cup 2 will be my winter tyre.

I had this OEM winter set on my old F80 ZCP and they're sitting in my basement. I don't think I will run a winter set on the M2 CS at all but will these actually fit?

Theoretically yes, just test fit the fronts to make sure nothing rubs though. My dealer would not install a 255/35/19 on the stock fronts because they weren't BMW homologated sizes.

Ah gotcha, yeah I would only run BMW spec winter if I did. Thanks!

First snow drive tonight for me. Like the M3 it is really good if there is not a lot of snow! Exterior temp was minus 6.5 celcius degree.

Just wash regularly. Its a drivers' car, not a museum piece.

that air deposit pattern is pretty interesting. Clearly an impact off the rear flap and diffuser.
