2018 M2 Pricing

My SA just called me and said that he expects pricing to be available on my 2018 M2 order next Monday June 5. I will post the info when I get it and if no one beats me to it.

I believe the increase in Canada was $800. Should be similar here in the states.

Well not really...MY17 got an $800 bump halfway through production so it's more like $1,600 really.

And overall it's $4,000 more than my MY16!

MY2017 was initially $63000, so MY2018 is overall a $2200 increase in Canada.

the latter model year(s) and improvements more than make up for the price increases.

That's shitty because it suggests allocations next month instead of this :/

The 2017 ordering and pricing guides were released on June 8, 2016. Hopefully, a similar release date will occur for 2018.

It's possible that they may delay MY18 production due to the issues at Leipzig - they may need to catch up on production of the way more popular cars they build there after the Bosch debacle.

I'll see if I can find anything out on my end.

I'm not sure how large the impacts ended up actually materializing into. As I understand it, there was no actual delay in M2 production at the plant.

That may be the case, however my completion date pushed from June 2nd to June 7th. Not sure why but could have been due to the supply issue. Who knows

As far as I know the price increase was 2,800eur for me. But I'm based in Europe, not sure if that helps...

Well, your SA does have a history of being wrong (see first post in this thread).
