18" 18x10.5 BMW 513M Wheels

Hey folks, I was wondering where can I find the full spec sheet for this one. It fits the M2CS so I was wondering if there's any other modification that I need for my 2017 BWM M2 in order for it to fit and not rub—Dinan coilovers.

513m CS racing specs are 18 x 10.5" wide et 46mm.

Rears fit wo any mods/adaption and fronts will require ~25mm spacers

Thanks! I was wondering where did you get this information? Does that mean the CS Racing is also using 25mm spacers?

So, I actually ordered a set of 513M yesterday

Current setup is
19x9 ET29 (245/35R19)
19x10 ET40 (265/35R19)

The spec for 513m
18X9 ET29 (255/40R18)
18x10 ET40 (275/40R18)

So the basic wheel widths and offset is the same as the standard 437M for the M2

This is the current clearance for the 437m with Öhlin Road&Track (see attached).

The widest part is the lip of the wheel on the current setup, the lip (in my imagination) would sit slightly lower on my new 255/40R18 front wheels.

No I believe the M2CSR has front geo that allows it to run 41mm wide spacers upfront. FYI oem front spacer part no is 36008328080

At the rear, M2CSR runs 16mm wide spacer @ oem part no 36008328081

The CS racing also has steering rack angle limiters. Probably to prevent rub on full lock. Not great for a street car that might have to do a 3 point turn.

Part #32108431886 steering angle stop 30,5mm.

M2CSR 513M =/= F8X 513M. CSR is 10.5 inch wide all around.

Gotcha, in the topic it was the 18x10 513m mentioned

With the spec of 18x10,5ET46 fitment without serious modifications will be... difficult.
Comparing to stock setup you would move the inner part of the rim, circa, 35mm inwards?

To OP, are you looking to run a staggered or square setup?

As mentioned above spacers are used to get the right ET front and rear.

10" 513M will fit the front with the right spacers and enough camber. Can't seem to find the spacer size but it was in the 20-30mm range.

10" et40mm - min spacer 15mm to clear standard front strut with 245 wide rubber. If running coilovers/wider rubber then as above suggest min. 20mm thk spacer to ensure inner clearance.

Additional information, if I couldn't run 18x10.5 without any major modifications then I will fall back to 18x10 which is IIRC the normal ones that fit F87?

To my understanding it's possible to fit the rear 437M wheels (19x10, ET40) with spacers and more camber.

With that said, are you doing this in order to run a square setup?
Because the 513m equipped to M3/M4 is staggered and will fit just fine.

I’m looking to run a square setup if possible. To be honest I’m still not sure if that’s actually economically sound given that at the track, I’m not really “saving” when it comes to the rotation part of the tires.

I know the 513m that comes with M3/M4’s fit just fine. So I may just go this route.

Maybe I’m just (at the end of the day) looking for a meatier setup.

The OEM setup is very stretched, you can fit 265s on a 9J wheel and 285s on a 10J wheel (stock widths).

Square setups are only really worth it if you rotate tires. You can also go to 9.5s all around to make fitment up front easier.

I personally ran a set of 513M for track with the above tire widths (stock suspension). Now I run some Apex wheels 9.5 Fr 10.5 Rr.

Thanks for all your feedback. I think I'll be going with the OEM 513m setup then just powder coating them like the M2CS racing wheels.

to maximize grip and avoid sidewall flex under load on track you should consider max tire width when buying rims. I have apex arc 8 9.5 with 255 square on 330i and that set-up is excellent with no sidewall flex. This is the key when selecting rims for track. With 513m I wouldn't use anything larger than 255f, 275r.

Depending on your experience and driving skill my guess is that 9.5f and 10.5r is better on m2.
