Tire shop recommendations in NYC/LI
Hey, anyone have recommendations for a good tire shop in the NYC area? Got a set of Titan 7 T-S5 in stock wheel size (19x9.5+27 19x10.5+44) and stock Supersport tires (245/35 265/35). The shop I usually go to, which had swapped my tires out on the stock wheels, said they could not mount the tires without damaging the wheels. I took it to another shop and got the same result. Not sure why they are unable to mount the tires if they were able to on the stock wheels... This is the first time I've run into this issue.

Found a shop that explained these wheels are “reverse drop” and need to be mounted upside down. Gonna have them try to mount the tires tomorrow.

Update - The shop (Auburndale Tires & Auto Repairs) mounted my tires with no issue. The tires were in fact normal mount... Whatever the first two shops tried to do when mounting the first tire threw them off, which is why they originally thought it had to be reverse mounted. Also, one of the first two shops damaged a tire attempting to put it on, so I ended up needing a new tire as well.
