Did you go with the stock tire size or upsize to 255/275? I think others have gone with 255/275 or even 265/285 without problems, but perhaps not with the stock 437M wheels.

Did not read the article but how many runs were made with each tire setup? Same driver? Same weather conditions? Which tire was used first? Driver got better with time, then tried different tire? Such a difference in time over a 1.6 mile track could be just noise in the data.

they are what they are. Not a ton of choices this time of year. If I can sell these Conti's I'll run p4s this summer.

There's a member running 295s on stock 10" wheels. He's around somewhere.

That tire deserves the word "sucker". And take that as a compliment.

I’ve been running PS4s since summer, great tire.

My street 265/285 PS4 setup on OEM wheels is almost as quick as my square 265 18” RE-71R setup at my local track (Summit Point).

And, they have a good bit more grip than the 245/265 PSS setup that came on my car.

Yeah, a little better in the wet.

The outside front shoulders also held up a lot better after a day at the track, vs the PSSs.

The old RS3s were terrible in the rain so that sounds like an improvement.

MPSS4 max size fitment on stock wheels?

I see there's a couple new 4S tires in 30 profile that are wider, but similar diameter to the stock 35 profiles...

My MPSS tires are at end of life @7000 miles due to several auto crosses... outside fronts are bald. Time for a new set. While I hope to acquire some dedicated 18" wheels and mount RA71's in the foreseeable future (BS class), I'd like to improve traction on the daily driver wheels/tires for the short term.

The S4 tire is available in a couple interesting sizes that may fit(?)... anyone have inputs/knowledge? Hey, Tirerack dude!?

275/30-19 (f)
295/30-19 (r)

[Update: I mounted my E46 M3 CSL rear wheel with 295/30-19 tire and fits OK based on a limited drive around the neighborhood and over BMF speed bumps. So... just need to confirm/deny that a 275/30-19 tire will fit in front...]

For those with the PS4S, are they suitable for cold conditions or do they crack like R compound tires? I have seen conflicting info online.
