Placed My Order
I ordered the FL-5 18x9.5ET28 in black for a square setup. I will probably put 275s on. Thanks Apex!
Gotta look for camber plates now. |

Maybe I missed it, but what is the time frame for the M2 specific fitment?

Does a classic design like the Arc-8 not fit? These were my favourite wheels of all time. Had them on my VF E36 M3.

Off topic a little but will your 11" et 44 ec-7 with a 305 tire work in the rear of the M2 for everyday use like it does with the M4?

They do not sir, and we are also in the process of phasing that design out as they are a bit too similar to our EC-7's. With the two newest designs in addition to the existing popular ARC-8 and EC-7 designs, we will have a diverse line of wheels for our customers.

Do you plan on making the SM-10 in the same fitments as the FL-5? |

The EC-7 18x10" ET33 would be the better choice for a square fitment. Perfect fitment in the rear, and spacers up front for proper strut clearance. Spacer thickness up front would depend on suspension type, and tire size/brand, but many have used either 10mm or 12mm. If you used the 18x10 ET43, the rears would would sit a few mm recessed in comparison to the OEM rear wheels, but more importantly the front would require very thick spacers for strut clearance - 20mm or so. Here is a photo of an AlekShop built M2 with our 18" EC-7's: APEX EC-7 18x10" ET33 275/35-18 Bridgestone RE-71R Tires Ohlins Coilovers 12mm spacers up front (for strut clearance) AP Racing BBK Now if you are strictly asking about rear inner clearance because you are only using them in the rear, either the 18x10" ET33 or ET43 would work just fine. Keep in mind the proposed FL-5 rear wheel in the OP is 18x10.5" ET40, which sits 3mm closer to the rear suspension than the 18x10" ET43. We're initially running with the FL-5 design due to popular demand, and depending on how these sizes sell we'll know if a second design is warranted or not. To be determined. - Ryan

I'm thinking staggered to get as much rubber as possible in the rear.
I think the 18x10 ET33 would rub the fender with a 285 and lowered coil over setup. My rear is dropped 25mm. Last edited by ZM2; 07-26-2017 at 11:20 PM.. |

Do you think a 275/35/18 and 295/30/18 Hoosier R7 would fit with no problems on a lowered/cambered car and the 9.5 ET28, 10.5 ET40 FL-5s? |
