M2 Competition KW HAS Kit

Hey Guys,
wondering if anyone else running KW HAS kit, kits been good so far but i've heard some speculation about upgraded/wider tires hitting the spring,

anyone with an m2 comp and upgraded the tires 265 30 front?

Show some pictures or even better if you possibly have aftermarket rims 9.5 F and 10.5 R ?

Post some pics!

I just installed KW HAS kit. My wheels are: Front 19 x 9.5 ET 27 Rear: 19 x 10.5 ET 44
Tires are: 255/35/19 and 275/35/19 Cup 2 sizes. I don't have any issues with my setup, and I don't think you will have any issues with 265/30/19 on the front as this is actually the 1st recommended tire size the shop give me. I didn't go for 265/30/19 since this will decrease my ground clearance. And I like higher profile for comfort. Tried to fit 265/35 but didn't work. With my current set up, 255/35 Cup 2 on the front with KW HAS, I dropped the car and decreased the front wheel gap to less than one finger, and still keeping the same ground clearance as stock height, which is exactly what I am going for.

How were you able to decrease the wheel gap yet keep the clearance as per stock height?

Because the Cup 2 tires are taller than stock. Cup 2's side wall is known to be taller than the same spec of other tires. Using the front for example, 255/35 Cup 2 VS 245/35 PSS stock. I didn't measure the exact difference, but let's just say the Cup 2 is 20mm taller than the stock PSS. That means once it is mounted, the top of the tire is 10mm taller therefore reduced the wheel gap by 10mm, the bottom tire is also 10mm taller which means it raise the car and gives 10mm more ground clearance. Now, using the KW HAS to drop the car by 10mm, this will lower the car back to stock height, maintain the same stock ground clearance, but also reduce the wheel gap by another 10mm. So the gap is reduced by 20mm in total, 10mm from taller side wall, 10mm from HAS drop, giving the car much better stance and maintain the same clearance. See my ending result here:

Maybe if you asked the Mods about moving this to the Suspension | Brakes | Chassis Sub-forum?
