I think b58 m2 sales will be low or need to be heavily discounted. |

I think the next M2 will have the S58. Now that I’ve had a taste of the M2 with the S55 I don’t think I can go back to the regular series motors. Don’t want to offend anyone here, but to me the only benefit of the N55 over the S55 is the sound. The original M2 is a fantastic car, but I just think the S55 kicks up one notch.

They can program it to have 100% power go to the rear. I think this is only on the AMG 45 S Models, from what I read.

i dont think it would cost BMW much in terms of building one...bigger turbo, bigger brakes and stiffer suspension with maybe some kind of wide body and add some gloss carbon fiber interior bits and boom charge 60-70k...lol. |

I wouldn't mind a b58 - better sound, cheaper to maintain and the stock internals have already been shown to handle huge increases in power from aftermarket mods very easily.
That being said, the s58 will clearly be on another level, but to me the difference isn't that vast in terms in value vs. performance. |

The 1M was the most fun to drive.
Size hp it was nearly perfect. Only the weght could be lighter. 1m coupe with carbon roof and hood in a modern new jacket would be my perfect M car. No 400 plus hp is needed if the weight is comming down! A new m2 bigger heavier and more hp. No i am not looking for that. If i wanted an m3/m4 i would have bought that. M2 must be an agile car for fun in cornering. My m2 comp has lost appeal to me. To big to heavy. To long wheelbase! We will see what a new m2 brings. If it gets bigger and heavier i not buying! Maybe buy a secondhand 1m then or a GT4 |
