Yep, that's normal between the modes.

I too noticed additional lag with larger ic.

Imo the lag on stg2 91 is slightly less noticeable than stg2 93.

Search re gfb dv+ to reduce lag. That combined with the pure turbo inlet pipe is supposed to make a big difference. I haven't done these yet but plan too (shame they such a bitch to fit)

Pure inlet makes a nice difference. I added it to my m135i after having the usual bolt ons and noticed the improved throttle response, lag was negligible and the ability to run more boost up top over the oem inlet (jb4 tuning).

With my M2 I went from stock to all the bolt ons + the inlet straight away. Car felt more responsive over oem, no noticeable lag etc.

Also have a gfb dv+ but not sure itís needed on DCT m2.

My car runs solid on stage 2 93 with shell 99. With the e30 map I run shell 99 with a little ethanol to equal around e20, timing is clean with no corrections. However that is on the limit of my oem HPFP.

Next step would be to fit the original b58 HPFP I have for a small increase in volume and maybe see where the oem turbo can really do.
